Chlordiazepoxide

[CAS Number 58-25-3] Chlordiazepoxide, sold under brand names such as Librax and Librium, is a long-acting benzodiazepine containing anxiolytic, sedative, and hypnotic properties. It assists in treating anxiety, insomnia, and symptoms of drug and alcohol withdrawal. However, due to Chlordiazepoxide being highly habit-forming, it is only prescribed as a short-term treatment. Chlordiazepoxide is available as reference material (bulk powder and/or solution) and as calibrated, Ready-to-Use, certified reference material (CRM). This product is designed for qualitative and quantitative protocols and can be used for forensic, toxicology, research, and other chemical/biochemical analytical applications.
